Over the course of three articles, we\u2019ll provide you with practical tips for developing a successful strategy for a mobile gaming studio.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a role=\"button\"><strong class=\"open-popup\">Subscribe to our newsletter<\/strong><\/a> to be notified when the next article is published!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prologue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s crystal clear that the past two years have been marked by dramatic changes, including IDFA deprecation, post-COVID normalization, and disgruntled investors\u2014often with good reason\u2014turning their backs on gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone at the C-level has been forced to rethink and redesign what and how they\u2019re doing things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From CEOs setting a new direction for their companies to CPOs deciding what games to build, and CMOs puzzling over how to find and scale their user base as targeting is f<strong>*<\/strong> up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pattern I\u2019m seeing increasingly is that of uncertainty around how to address such strategic questions. There\u2019s significant tension between establishing a fresh, bold, long-term strategy versus the industry\u2019s common reactive approach, which has led to a plethora of \u201cme too\u201d games and piggybacking on competitors\u2019 ad creatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an agency owner, I have the privilege of witnessing much of what goes on behind the scenes among gaming studios of different sizes and maturity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of this series is to challenge my own perspective, as well as those of industry experts from companies like Zynga, Jam City, and Metacore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the time
